Last Thursday, while Patrick was on the phone with his mom, I got the idea to look up the animal shelters website and look at the dogs that they currently had. Patrick and I had talked about getting a second dog at some point we just had not decided when. We wanted a Friend for Herschel. We knew we would want a dog that would be smaller than Herschel or the same size at the most. We also knew we wanted to get a puppy so that the dog would be younger than Herschel.
Well, I just happened to find a dog that I liked a lot that seemed to fit our qualifications. After a little while I had talked myself out of getting the dog and kind of forgot about it. Until the next day. I kept thinking about the dog and decided to so see him in person to see what I thought. Well how could you say no to this face? especially when he met all of our qualifications?

Sharing the chair has been a big step for Herschel.
Here is Herschel and Stafford playing in the back yard on about day 3.
I'm sure you will learn more about Stafford later but for now that is really all I have time for. I have worked on this post 3 different times in trying to get it done. I am in the midst of my busiest week this summer!

Cograts on the new addition to your family! Stafford is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Staf-Ford :)!! To the home & hearts of the Fords. To the loving arms of Family & Friends too, and even big brother Herschel! These are cute pics together! Enjoy, your furry family members. TN MOM
